Concrete countertops and elements are much more sustainable than their counterparts (including Granite), as they are made from limestone, an abundant mineral. These solid surface counterparts are less-than-sustainable due to the environmental cost of quarrying and shipping overseas. Handcrafted concrete stone is designed, manufactured and shipped all within the United States.

The “green revolution” is certainly a bandwagon everyone wants to ride nowadays.  The media and political arenas have made great strides in getting the country involved in sustaining the planet. Cast concrete by Concrete Atelier meets the demand for green building products. The additives to our cement mix contain materials such as recycled glass, marble, steel reinforcement and additives to reduce water needed during production. We also produce our own reusable custom molds. Our company will continue practicing due diligence in creating products with green elements and maintain our design studio and manufacturing facilities in the most environmentally friendly and productive form.
